Timeline of Rushia's Headache Situation

Note: any text in (parentheses) are my personal comments. Anything else will be a summary, paraphrase, or direct quote from Rushia.

10/20/2020: Rushia tweeted about her terrible headache and calling for an ambulance. She later tweeted she will be scheduling an MRI scan.

10/22/2020: Rushia explained her situation in the Okaeri/Super Smash Bros stream.

Before she sent out her tweet about her headache, Rushia had bad pain around her neck and the back of her head. She tried to go to sleep twice, but the headache only exacerbated, as she described, "as if someone was digging a knife into my head." She took painkillers and tried to sleep again, but she felt really unwell and dizzy while laying down. She got up for water and felt dizzy again. Both of Rushia's grandmas passed away due to brain diseases, one from subarachnoid "something" and the other from cerebral infarction. Recalling her grandmas, at first she was really worried but then said "if I had these diseases, then I can probably do nothing," and tried to go back to sleep again. After a while, it seemed like her painkillers stopped working, and her pain started to become even worse, so she instinctively called emergency.

On the phone, it sounded like Rushia didn't explain well that she was in an emergency situation, and the first hospital told her the headache physician isn't on call so ask another hospital. She called a second hospital, and they told her their headache physician is treating someone at another headache hospital and she needs to wait 3 hours. She called the first hospital back, and they told her the headache physician will be coming soon and they will send an ambulance her way.

While she was waiting, she recalled how her grandma passed away because 5 hours had passed after she fell down (I'm guessing because no one noticed for 5 hours). She didn't want to repeat the same scenario, so she gritted her teeth and tweeted on early morning of Oct 20th thinking she didn't want to go out like this while leaving everyone in the dark. Actually she was having a headache while streaming, but it wasn't as bad as before. They told her her CT scan looked fine but need to schedule an MRI scan "to check her blood vessels, just in case." She didn't like the sound of that because she might be moving soon and she's also busy at night.

She also had some neurological exams done, like how many fingers can you see and can you close and open your hands, which she found ridiculous.

She asked about her dizziness and some strange feeling around her temples, but they couldn't figure it out from only physical exams.

They asked her if she was claustrophobic for the MRI, and she responded "I'm fine, in fact I like tight spaces." But they didn't tell her about the noise of the MRI machine (Chat told her.).

10/28/2020: Rushia took her MRI scan and needs to wait for results to come out in November.

She wore headphones during the MRI scan, and she said it still sounded like a construction site. She still fell asleep during the scan. Doctors asked if she feels unwell after the scan, but she doesn't know because she was sleeping.

11/02/2020: Rushia received her scan and check-up results and revealed them in 2 parts, at the beginning of the Minecraft stream and at the beginning of Super Chat reading.

Losing Her Keys. And Moving.

She woke up about 10 minutes before the stream because she woke up at 8:30 AM for her results and then went back to sleep after the visit.

She lost the keys to her home. She called the landlord and various other places and still hasn't found it. She said she has an animal style keychain (Rushia why would you tell us this.).

She found out her backpack was left open (I assume on the way home), so she wondered if her keys just fell out somewhere. She was given a spare key and got in.

Chat told her she needs to change her lock. She said she’s probably moving, or in her words "disappear from the countryside," this month, so she has to pay back for the spare key soon.

She tried to tweet good morning but didn’t because she was too sleepy. She was half-asleep until she was at the hospital at 10 AM.

Results Part 1.

MRI results said she must be careful with not getting diabetes and high blood pressure (HBP), among other things on a list. If any of those things happen, she needs to go to the hospital. They told her to always be hydrated.

They found her dizziness is linked to whenever she has low BP. She asked, "Am I gonna die?" Doctors answered, "Well, don't panic yet. If you get a headache again, you’ll need to come to the hospital." She was really worried because she’s moving soon (and most likely switching hospitals.). Seems like the most important advice was to always be hydrated, for which she said not to worry because she drinks a lot of tea. They told her there’s a high chance for her to get dizzy if she isn’t hydrated, such as after sweating a lot (maybe this explains the Ring Fit Adventure streams when she gets dizzy?). She’s glad her results finally found a cause for the symptoms she’s been experiencing.

She asked them if drinking alcohol is okay, and they told her "in moderation" and that "she's still young." She said she gets drunk from half a can of alcohol (I assume the 3% alcohol lemon drink she always has) so don't get mad at her if she does a drinking stream.

Chat told her to stop drinking cola. She said, "Why would I stop drinking cola? Not like it has alcohol in it, it's just a drink, I need cola in my life." The entire chat told her it can cause diabetes. She understood but said, "Then 1 can of cola a day should be fine! And I'll start cooking dinner myself every night!" (I don't even want to know how much cola she drinks a day before this.)

(I guess talking about diabetes prevention reminded her of her conversation with her mom.)

She told us she called her mom and told her all these results. Her mom said, "Go tell your Fandeads, too."

Rushia said, "Why? I don't want to worry them and just want to tell them I feel fine."

Her mom said, "No, you are by yourself right now and will be going to the city, let the Fandeads look over you. You have to tell them."

She resisted, "But I don't want to talk about it."

Her mom said, "No, you have to tell them. If you don't tell anyone else about it, you will definitely keep eating sugary foods and buying convenience store food and not cooking."

She thought, "How do you know all this?! Do you watch my stream?!" (No, she's your mom.)

Chat said, "I'm gonna marry your mom."

She reacted, "Why are you marrying my mom?! My mom has my dad! And why won't you marry me?!"

Results Part 2 in Super Chat Reading

"Normally there are two blood vessels on each side that go to your brain. It looks like I only have one. They told me they think this is congenital hypoplasia, and they couldn’t find any signs of a recent artery blockage."

She said this gave her a cause to many of her symptoms, like getting dizzy when she has low BP or after she sweats a lot, and like how she always mentions her low BP in her morning streams. She'll make sure she stays hydrated to avoid dizziness. Her doctors told her because she only has one artery, she must be careful to not get diabetes, HBP, and something else that she forgot the name of. They also told her to avoid building up stress and overexerting herself.

She mentions HBP runs in her family. Doctors said being stressed makes her BP low. She recalls how she would have low BP out of nowhere since middle school.

She didn't like the sound of "if you have a headache, come to the hospital." She has never been told that before, so she's pretty unsure about it.

She thought MRI is amazing and was glad she did it. She promised to be careful, especially when she plans to move. She was trying to process everything on her way back from the hospital and didn't know if she wanted to tweet on the train.

She talked a bit about cooking for herself. She explained she's been eating convenience store food recently because she's been tired.

She revealed that recently her dad might have diabetes. Her dad laughed about it and revealed he might be a diabetic like it wasn’t anything serious, and she and her mom didn’t think it was funny at all. She said her paternal grandparents also have diabetes, but as long as she’s careful, she’ll be fine.

Her mom told her since she's living alone, she should depend on her Fandeads more. Rushia realized what her mom meant when chat told her to stop drinking cola. Her mom believes humans are easily hurt by words, and she worries about what Rushia says to Fandeads and how Fandeads would react. Rushia recently told her mom she would yell and cuss when gaming, though not at Fandeads, and her mom told her, "Stop doing that! Won't they be taken aback by that? That’s so embarrassing!" Her mom wanted to make sure Rushia never hurts her Fandeads with her words. Rushia agreed with chat that she shouldn’t show the 3rd Gen Evangelion Unit-01 clip to her mom. She also wanted to go to groceries for vegetables after the stream.
